IN THE NEWSAmberley Publishing celebrate the 1,000th ISBNPosted: 20 February 2010 Amberley Publishing was launched in July 2008 and in the year April 2009 to March 2010 published 340 titles. Alan Sutton says: “Our team of 25 has worked very hard to get the programme through and all credit is due to them. We aim to reach 400 titles a year and stop at that annual level in the UK. We have just reached our 1,000th ISBN: 978-84868-999-2 for the book Kenilworth Through Time. Our forward programme is very strong and the support for Amberley has been highly gratifying.” Much of the Amberley forward programme is in full colour and Amberley consider they are leading the way in innovation for local interest and niche history publishing. Alan Mabley the Chief Operating Officer says: “We opened our doors at the height of the recession and knew what we were letting ourselves in for. We have cut our coat according to our cloth and have more than succeeded in what we set out to do.”
